The Solution
We have proposed a solution to the customer and AWS EC2 resources as per the requirement. We suggested installing the DRS agent into Azure managed application and database services. DRS will do the block level replication to AWS cloud and then it will try to sync with AWS managed servers. This way, we are able to achieve the DR solution for azure managed instances.
enreap installed and configured Cloudberry Backup on Sterling Accuris' on-premises servers and workstations to automate data backup tasks. The software was integrated with their AWS environment to enable seamless, scheduled backups. Features such as encryption, backup scheduling, and incremental backups were configured to ensure secure and optimized data transfer.
AWS S3 Glacier was chosen for long-term, low-cost data storage with high durability and security. enreap set up vaults within S3 Glacier to organize archived data efficiently and support regulatory compliance.
AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies were configured to ensure granular access control and secure operations. S3 storage settings and bucket policies were optimized to balance accessibility and cost-effectiveness.
Custom backup plans were created via Cloudberry, specifying data types, encryption, retention periods, and backup schedules. Incremental backups were enabled to reduce bandwidth usage and control cloud storage costs.
