If you want your employees to come to work excited and ready to contribute then you need to foster enabling environments. This year has brought forth some amazing opportunities and we have worked on some cutting-edge projects. We have made strong strides in cementing our position as partners in our client’s digital transformation journeys and have further established ourselves as thought leaders in the Agile, DevOps, PPM, Cloud, and Multi-speed IT arena.

While augmenting our business goals and moving steadfastly along our growth plans, we have also focused heavily on driving our employee engagement initiatives to ensure that our employees are happy, fulfilled, motivated, enabled, and engaged.

Build an Energizing Environment

Motivation and engagement, we believe, are essential components to help employees achieve their true potential. However, motivational triggers often vary from individual to individual. It was a conscious decision on our part to build an environment that energizes all and creates an environment of trust and openness so that employees feel safe to take ideational risks.

Our managers and senior leaders have been focused on discovering high-potential employees, identifying barriers to success, and delivering enablement at work when work happens. They have worked consistently and continually to groom and build individuals and teams and have supported them with the right guidance and exposure.

Support Growth

Growth is an essential component that drives employee engagement. However, we recognize that sometimes people might want to grow in unconventional directions. It has been an intentional effort for us to help our employees and give them the tools, knowledge, and support to change courses and excel in new roles.

We have seen quite a few of our team members change their roles and move from one department to the other. We have ensured that those who want to grow, have shown the merit, right attitudes, and aptitude to learn get the opportunities they desire.

Whether it is upskilling, reskilling, or increasing technical or knowledge-related competencies, we have supported our employees in developing the competencies they need to progress on the growth paths they desire whether it was through internal training and L&D programs or external certifications.

Leadership Development Program

Our Emerging Leadership Program witnessed great success this year. We initiated this program to take a data-backed approach to identify our high-potential employees and create a robust leadership pipeline. Our objective is to create a competent leadership funnel and ensure that these employees are armed with the skills they need to lead high-power teams to success now, and in the future.

We have a structured and methodical approach to driving leadership programs. These programs not only help employees develop their technical skills but focus more on the critical skills that drive organizational outcomes.

Our open-door policies make sure that employees in these programs have access to all leaders, including our CEO and all CXOs without worries. Be it exploration, ideation, or discovery, our employees can seek help and get clarity from those with the right experience and progress along their growth paths.

Coaching and Mentoring

We saw a great response to our coaching and mentoring programs. This year, quite a few employees were rewarded with out-of-turn promotions as an appreciation of their stellar performances. We recognize that starting any new role needs support even for the most seasoned employees and our coaching and mentoring program was a step in that direction.

Our managers and senior leaders have acted as dedicated mentors to the candidates who sought these initiatives. Our workforce could work with and take guidance from seasoned professionals and identify pathways to augment their growth.

For the new leaders and high-potential employees, coaching and mentoring sessions were focused on identifying their leadership language, assessing their belief systems, and identifying the biases, both conscious and unconscious, that would keep them from being impactful leaders.

These sessions were open to managers as well to help them hone their leadership language and expand their emotional vocabulary. This helped our managers engage in deeper, empathetic, and meaningful ways with their teams and ensured that they removed any judgment from their leadership language and created winning, happy, energized, and high-performing teams.

Fun and Games

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. While the year was full of learning and exciting work, enreap was buzzing with fun activities throughout.

We wanted to share the value of love, loyalty, friendship, and kinship with our employees. What better than a movie to showcase these? We screened the movie Hatchi – A Dog’s Tale for our employees to showcase these values and took some time to think about these beautiful qualities that make wholesome relationships.

Bloopers, a Stand-up Comedy on our team members, tickled the funny bone and made sure that we retained our sense of humour. We also tried to get more musically inclined with the in-house Antakshari competition.

We welcomed the festive season with Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in our office. The Ganesh Vandana and prayers were followed by many games, along with a quiz and fashion show. We also had a Traditional Day competition in the office where we saw our usually formally dressed employees go all out and get dressed in their traditional gear.

Pehchan Kaun was an event to build greater kinship between team members. Our employees had a great time guessing who their colleagues were from looking at childhood photos of their peers!

Diwali week was quite the firecracker for our employees. We organized a week-long carrom tournament and conducted activities like Twins Day and diya painting followed by Diwali gift distribution to thank our employees and their invaluable efforts.

Our annual cricket tournament got us all out into the grounds and saw active participation both on and off the field. Now our employees are busy with their Secret Santa preps to conclude the party season!

2023 was a great year for us and our employees. We look back on the year with gratitude and look excitedly towards the year ahead with enthusiasm and some great plans for our employees!
