The Solution

We have proposed a solution to the customer and AWS EC2 resources as per the requirement. We suggested installing the DRS agent into Azure managed application and database services. DRS will do the block level replication to AWS cloud and then it will try to sync with AWS managed servers. This way, we are able to achieve the DR solution for azure managed instances.

We mapped Public IP mapped to the Virtual network gateway in Azure

Created the Local Network Gateway on Azure cloud.

Configured the VPN setup and the tunnels are up and connected from both Azure and AWS side

Installed the replication agent on the Azure dummy Database VM
