The Solution

We proposed them AWS EC2 instance for hosting the application & RDS service (Managed Database Service) to use for MYSQL database. Firstly, we got it tested on different EC2 instance type to check the performance & then finalized EC2 type & then completed the migration from on premise to AWS.

The autoscaling group is setup between two instances along with load balancer to solve the problem of scalability.

We recommended GP3 EBS storage for faster performance.

We enabled WAF for security purpose & also enabled CDN services.

We also enabled CloudWatch, CloudTrail & Budget dashboards.

Value Delivered

Due to autoscaling setup even if users grow or reduce, the customer experience remain unaffected. This helped the client avoiding any upfront investment in infrastructure. Managing the infrastructure on AWS, the client team was able to focus on their application & driving their business.

The client team was able to onboard their additional customers smoothly on the LMS platform.

CDN services helped them in reducing latency & thus improving access speed for downloading the content.

With saving plan enablement, the cost was reduced by 20%
