Manager, PMO – enreap, Corporate Office
Your primary role as a Manager for PMO, enreap will be to manage enreap’s Portfolio of strategic and change initiatives. You are expected to put in place the systems, processes & best practices to manage the entire lifecycle of strategic initiatives. You will work across different departments and collaborate with various internal stakeholders, and external consultants, such as finance, marketing, sales, human resources, and customer service to get these projects executed and realize the value out of approved strategic initiatives. Sound understanding of business objective articulation, translation of these into business metrics like profitability, CSAT, ESAT, Compliance etc. and oversee execution around these metrics to meet business objectives will be key to the success of this role. This role is part of the Corporate office, in most cases the projects or initiatives will be executed by function or segment teams.
Summary

- 2-3 years experience managing or supporting the entire Business portfolio management lifecycle.
- At least 3 years of experience managing business-oriented projects where you had/have accountability to business value realization.
What are you expected to do?
- Working with Department teams or Segment teams to prepare business cases for Strategic initiatives and work with them to execute each project to realize projected business outcomes. As an example, the success of business projects could be defined by a variety of business metrics like margin optimization, topline improvement, cost optimization, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, New Product introduction, new market penetration, flow metrics like velocity etc.
- For approved projects, work with internal and / or external teams to execute the projects to realize the targeted optimization outcomes.
- Build, enhance and manage the PMO Systems, processes and best practices.
- Manage the portfolio of the initiatives under evaluation
- You will be expected to manage the entire lifecycle of the PMO Project lifecycle from Ideation -> Conceptualization -> Elaboration -> Business Case preparation -> Prioritize & Approval of Business Case -> Execute Approved Initiative to realize business value from the approved strategic initiative.
- Work closely with the initiative lead and SMEs to translate the initiative into well articulation scope, project plan, cost, schedule and expected outcomes. Follow through the entire lifecycle of strategic initiative from elaboration, approval, execution and closure.
- Manage the portfolio of initiatives under execution – provide visibility and control to the corporate office to measure where we are and call out what needs management attention.
- Manage individual strategic initiatives as a project with a defined financial budget, resources and schedules.
- Be a change agent to drive change within the organization, segment or function, as required.
- Prepare the CEO and the rest of Management with progress, insights, recommendations & suggestions for specific Strategic Initiative reviews
- Prepare the CEO and the rest of the management team with progress, insights, recommendations & suggestions for PMO Corporate office reviews.
What are we looking for
- Strong experience being part of the Corporate / CEO / Founder office of less than 500 employees IT services company.
- Strong experience managing or supporting the entire Business portfolio management process.
- Experience dealing with business management stakeholders like Directors, CEO, and Board members.
- Strong project management skills especially for business projects that require working across functions, departments and business segments.
- At least 3 years of experience managing business-oriented projects where you had/have accountability to business value realization.
- A sound understanding of Portfolio Management principles and techniques with financial metrics is key to the success of this role.
- Strong experience applying & practicing management concepts like Theory of constraints (ToC), Value Stream Mapping, Velocity metrics etc. to day-to-day business process optimization challenges.
- Experience dealing with analytics and intelligence from data sources like
- CRM Systems (e.g. Hubspot, Monday.com, JIRA, Salesforce, etc.)
- IT Operations (JIRA, Freshdesk, Zendesk…)
- Software Delivery (JIRA, AzureDevOps, GITLab..)
- HRMS systems (GreytHR, JIRA, Zoho…)
- Management Operations (Spreadsheets, PowerBI, Fathom…)
- Accounting (Quickbooks, Zoho, Tally, Oracle, Microsoft..)
- Experience working with internal or external technical teams to execute business strategic initiatives.
- Experience managing business operations with integrated financial controls including Planning, forecasting, budgeting and tracking processes for cost, margins, cashflows etc.
