We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead an Atlassian delivery POD, with ownership of technical delivery, resource planning, financial performance, and customer outcomes. You will oversee enterprise Atlassian Cloud implementations, migrations, and JSM/ITSM rollouts while managing project margins, utilization, revenue forecasts, and presales engagements. This role requires strong Atlassian expertise, delivery leadership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring profitable project execution.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end delivery of Atlassian engagements, including Cloud implementations, Data Center-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations, JSM/ITSM rollouts, PPM setups, and platform optimization.
• Guide consultants on solution design across Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Assets, Atlassian Guard, automation, and Marketplace apps.
• Govern migrations through assessment, test migrations, validation, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
• Review technical deliverables, configurations, scripts, integrations, and documentation against acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
• Allocate consultants across concurrent projects, manage capacity and utilization, and balance workload, skills, and billability.
• Own POD financial performance, including project margins, GM1, GM2, GM3, OBU, resource utilization, and revenue forecasts.
• Track project effort against estimates, control scope creep, review change requests, and drive corrective actions to protect profitability.
• Collaborate with Pre-sales on discovery, solution design, effort estimation, staffing plans, proposals, RFP responses, and customer demonstrations.
• Lead customer demos and solution walkthroughs covering Jira, JSM, Confluence, Assets, and Atlassian Rovo.
• Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, schedules, and resources across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Lead customer status meetings, steering reviews, escalations, and governance reporting to maintain stakeholder confidence.
• Mentor consultants, conduct skill-gap reviews, support performance appraisals, and drive Atlassian certifications and capability development.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and incorporate Atlassian Rovo and AI capabilities into customer solutions and delivery processes.

Must-Have Skills

ATLASSIAN TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• 5+ years of experience in the Atlassian ecosystem, hands-on or as a delivery lead, covering Jira Software, JSM, Confluence, Assets, Atlassian Cloud administration, and Atlassian Guard.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise Atlassian Cloud migrations and JSM/ITSM implementations.
• Strong understanding of ITSM, ESM, PPM, Agile delivery, workflows, schemes, and Marketplace applications.
• Working knowledge of Jira Automation, REST APIs, ScriptRunner, or Groovy to review technical designs and estimates.
• Understanding of platform governance, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning, permissions, and enterprise access controls.

DELIVERY & POD LEADERSHIP

• 12+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in technical project management or delivery management.
• Experience leading a delivery team or POD across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong capabilities in resource allocation, capacity planning, utilization management, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, dependencies, risks, effort variance, and delivery quality.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.

FINANCIAL & KPI OWNERSHIP

• Experience managing project margins, GM1, GM2, GM3, OBU, and resource utilization.
• Ability to maintain revenue forecasts, track actuals against forecasts, and explain financial variances.
• Experience tracking effort against estimates, controlling scope creep, and protecting margins on fixed-price projects.
• Ability to review Statements of Work (SoWs), change requests, scope assumptions, and commercial viability.
• Strong analytical skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning for margin, effort, and schedule variances.

PRESALES & CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

• Experience collaborating with Pre-sales on proposals, RFP responses, effort estimates, staffing plans, and customer demonstrations.
• Ability to validate solution scope, delivery assumptions, risks, and effort commitments before proposal submission.
• Experience managing customer expectations, technical discussions, escalations, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong presentation, communication, status reporting, and governance documentation skills.
• Ability to manage engagements from presales handover through delivery completion and identify account-growth opportunities.

AI & ATLASSIAN INNOVATION

• Awareness of Atlassian Rovo, including Search, Chat, and Agents, and Atlassian Intelligence.
• Ability to identify relevant AI use cases for customer solutions and delivery improvement.

Good to Have

• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications.
• ITIL certification, particularly for JSM and ITSM engagements.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certification.
• Conceptual understanding of Atlassian Forge and when to use it instead of native configuration or Marketplace applications.
• Experience delivering enterprise projects for customers across India, Southeast Asia, or the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
• Exposure to AWS, DevOps, or monday.com delivery for cross-POD engagements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
