We are looking for an Atlassian Consultant with hands-on experience in Atlassian Cloud, Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, automation, and AI-powered collaboration. You will help customers design, implement, and optimize scalable Atlassian solutions while using Rovo and modern AI capabilities to improve productivity, knowledge discovery, and enterprise collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Administer and optimize Atlassian Cloud products, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Assets.
• Configure workflows, issue types, screens, permissions, notification schemes, dashboards, and automation rules.
• Plan and support Data Center-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations, including assessments, testing, validation, cutover, and stabilization.
• Configure and manage Marketplace apps such as ScriptRunner, Xray, Zephyr, Tempo, BigPicture, and eazyBI.
• Implement Atlassian Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, Rovo Agents, Skills, and Actions for enterprise use cases.
• Optimize prompts and enterprise knowledge sources to improve AI-assisted workflows, search relevance, and knowledge discovery.
• Work with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Atlassian solutions.
• Collaborate with presales and delivery teams on solution design, technical discussions, effort estimation, and proposals.
• Build automation and integrations using Jira Automation, REST APIs, Groovy, Python, or PowerShell.
• Implement platform governance, access controls, Atlassian Guard, SAML SSO, SCIM, and enterprise security practices.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture guides, operational runbooks, and deliver administrator and end-user training.
• Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, operational efficiency, and enterprise collaboration.

Must-Have Skills

ATLASSIAN CLOUD & ADMINISTRATION

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian products, including Jira, JSM, Assets, Atlassian Guard, and Confluence.
• Strong experience with Atlassian Cloud administration, configuration, implementation, and optimization.
• Proficiency in workflows, schemes, custom fields, request types, forms, SLAs, dashboards, permissions, and reporting.
• Experience with Marketplace apps, Atlassian administration, user and group management, and enterprise access controls.
• Understanding of Cloud migrations, application compatibility, integrations, and migration validation.

AI & ATLASSIAN ROVO

• Hands-on experience with Rovo Chat, Rovo Search, Rovo Agents, Skills, and Actions.
• Experience in prompt engineering, prompt optimization, and AI-assisted workflow design.
• Ability to curate enterprise knowledge sources and improve AI-powered search and knowledge discovery.
• Understanding of Atlassian Intelligence and AI capabilities for enterprise productivity and collaboration.

AUTOMATION & INTEGRATIONS

• Scripting skills using Groovy, Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
• Experience developing Jira automation rules and integrating Atlassian products with enterprise applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and build reusable automation solutions.

SOLUTION DESIGN & CONSULTING

• Ability to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate customer needs into practical Atlassian solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of ITSM best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Good to Have

• Conceptual understanding of Atlassian Forge and when to use it instead of native configuration or Marketplace apps.
• Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications.
• Experience with advanced reporting tools and Marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner, Xray, Zephyr, Tempo, BigPicture, and eazyBI.
• Experience conducting customer workshops, technical demonstrations, and administrator training.
• Interest in AI-driven productivity, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the Atlassian ecosystem.

Important Eligibility Note

• Candidates with experience exclusively in Atlassian Data Center or Server and no hands-on Atlassian Cloud exposure should not apply.
• Candidates whose experience is limited to basic Jira administration, without requirements gathering, business process understanding, or solution design, should not apply.
